The hotel, housed in a former bank dating back to 1891, offers a unique blend of history and modern luxury. Downstairs, in the former bank vault, is Silver Lyan, an underground speakeasy featuring high-concept house cocktails crafted by award-winning bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr. Lyan). Having traveled the world, he uses bespoke techniques and experiments with ingredients to develop new ways to capture flavor. Him and his team draw inspiration from stories, concepts, and historical moments to bring their cocktails to life. Everything from the Manhattan cherries to the art aligns with the hotel's sense of whimsy and fun. Silver Lyan was awarded BEST US HOTEL BAR in 2022, and its interiors are opulent with deep colors.
